Eggplant Jewelry has been in the business of making and selling artisan jewelry and functional art in Arizona since 1993. The artist, Jacqueline Janes, excels in making her own beads from polymer clay and silver precious metal clay. She creates custom jewelry using beads of her own design, as well as premium quality Austrian crystal, glass, gemstones, precious metals, and natural materials. As a master artisan in polymer clay, Ms. Janes work is nationally recognized and acclaimed. Her creations can be seen in galleries, magazines, books, and catalogs. A few examples of her beadwork can be seen at The Museum Shop at the Art Institute of Chicago (she creates the face beads in the Fimo Lady Series). She has also shared her love for jewelry making by teaching the art to others.
